Swapping out those tired, degraded IR lamps for high-density halogen quartz tubes can actually breathe some life back into your output.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;It comes down to heat density.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Think about the wattage-to-length ratio. If you&amp;rsquo;re using a standard 250W or 500W tube, it might just not be hitting the preform wall hard enough. By bumping up the wattage—as long as it matches your current power supply—you increase the infrared flux.&#xA;Essentially, the PET hits its glass transition temperature way faster. You&amp;rsquo;re only shaving off fractions of a second per cycle. It doesn&amp;rsquo;t sound like much, right? But over a 24-hour shift, those tiny wins add up to thousands of extra bottles.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The gear matters.&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use heavy-wall quartz glass because filaments hate thermal stress.
