The “Just Works” Fit Nobody wants to spend their weekend modifying oven racks or messing with wiring. We hate that too. Our lamps are built to be a direct swap. We mirror the exact footprint and electrical load of the original parts—everything from the length and diameter down to the R7s or Sk15 connectors. Here’s the thing: if the voltage or wattage is even a little bit off, you’re asking for trouble. You’ll either burn through your lamps way too fast or you won’t hit the temperature you need to get the job done. We build our tubes to handle the heavy lifting of industrial ovens so the heat goes exactly where the preform wall needs it. The Science (Without the Boredom) We use high-purity quartz glass with special coatings. Why? Because it helps the energy “stick” to the PET resin instead of just bouncing off. It’s a lot more efficient. You stop wasting power and, more importantly, your oven walls don’t turn into a furnace. We also fill them with halogen gas to keep the filament steady. This is huge for high-speed lines where the lamps are cycling on and off constantly. It keeps them from popping prematurely. A Quick Heads-Up on Installation Swapping them out is easy. No rewiring, no drama. Just pull the old ones and slide these in. But a word of advice: if you decide to bump up the wattage to push more volume through your line, keep an eye on your heat. More power means a hotter tunnel. Just make sure your cooling fans and heat exchangers can keep up. If the tunnel gets too hot, your lamps will sweat and die a lot sooner than they should. Keep it cool, and they’ll last.
